What is IMPACD CIC?
IMPACD CIC is a service created by Amanda Hose-Hawley.
She is passionate about movement and has done a lot of research in this area.
We help people to explore their creativity.
We are located in Ward 6.
Ward 6 is one of the poorest areas of Nottingham and the UK.
We care about helping our local area.
We fight for fairness in Nottingham.
This is why we include people who find it hard to participate.
Everyone in Nottingham is welcome to join us.
What is our mission?

People of all abilities and backgrounds can discover the impact that movement can have on their lives.

How do we run our sessions?
The Inclusive Movement Programme (IMP) is an important tool for us.
This special tool uses everyday words, pictures, and fun ways to involve everyone.
People can explore our safe space through dancing, moving and doing art.
Our activities help people to grow and be creative.
We like having different kinds of people and include everyone in what we do.
We have trained leaders in our team.
They are passionate about inclusive movement.
They ensure that every session meets all needs and expectations.
Project Support Workers help them to check that everyone feels safe and has a good time.
We always check how we are doing and try to get better.
We ask people who take part what they think.
We have rules to make sure everyone is happy.
We give people the tools they need to become more confident.

We welcome people of all ages, genders and abilities. This is a safe space for people with disabilities, complex needs, neurodivergence and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
At IMPACD CIC, we believe every person deserves to be respected, valued and supported. We aim to provide a safe space designed to maximise the positive potential of an inclusive Participatory Art environment, where participants can explore their personal emotions, identity, abilities and values in a manner that is safe and non-threatening.
