Terms and Conditions: Freedom to Explore and IMPACD CIC

  1. These Terms and Conditions set out the guidelines, expectations, and responsibilities for individuals participating in activities organized by Freedom to Explore and IMPACD CIC. You agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions by participating in these activities.
  2. Safeguarding and Child Protection a. The designated person within the organisation holds the primary responsibility for implementing procedures to safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults at risk and managing any concerns related to their safety. b. Participants must contribute to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all individuals involved in the activities. c. Bullying, abusive behaviour, or any form of harm towards others will not be tolerated. d. The organization follows current legislation and best practices in safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. e. Participants should report any cases of poor practice, abuse, or concerns about children, young people and vulnerable adults’ safety to the designated person (Director Sharon Hunt, Safe Guarding Lead) or through appropriate reporting channels.
  3. Participation and Referrals a. Individuals seeking companionship to reduce isolation and loneliness can self-refer through the “Book Activity” page on the organization’s website. b. Support agencies, families, and carers can also refer individuals to participate in the activities. c. The organisation does not provide personal care services. d. Relevant medical information must be provided before engaging in any activities to ensure the safety of all participants. e. If an individual poses a risk to themselves or others, it is essential to inform the organisation. f. Individuals likely to cause anxiety or fear to others should not be referred to the activities. g. Abuse or intolerance towards staff and participants will not be tolerated.
  4. Age Restrictions and Family Sessions a. During term time, services are exclusively for adults. b. Multi-generational sessions during school holidays are specifically designed for family units, and an adult must accompany children.
  5. Participant Responsibilities a. Participants are responsible for their belongings. Please be aware that personal belongings are left at your own risk. b. Any spillages or breakages should be promptly reported to ensure a safe environment for everyone. c. Participants are requested to help maintain a safe space for others by following safety guidelines and instructions.
  6. Privacy and Confidentiality a. The organisation respects participants’ privacy and will handle personal information as per applicable data protection laws. b. Participants should also respect the privacy of others involved in the activities and refrain from disclosing sensitive personal information without consent.
  7. Shared Responsibility for Safeguarding a. Safeguarding is a collective responsibility. Everyone involved in the activities should remain vigilant and report any concerns regarding the safety or well-being of participants.
  8. Changes and Amendments Freedom to Explore and IMPACD CIC reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified.

By participating in the activities organised by Freedom to Explore and IMPACD CIC, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of your participation.
