Amanda Hose-Hawley is the Director of IMPACD C.I.C and Todo Latino Dance Co. Ltd.
She has a strong background in dance education.
She graduated with high honours from Trinity Laban in 2022.
She earned a Level 6 diploma in dance teaching and learning.
She improved her skills and learned how dance can change lives.
In 2023, Amanda started a research project at FABRIC, which used to be called dance4.
This gave her the chance to work with expert dance leaders who also believed in inclusivity.
They created a new tool called IMP.
IMP stands for Inclusive Movement Prompt.
IMP helps everyone to use the Laban method of movements.
The Laban method is based on eight movements to express yourself with your body.
She loves helping people to show their feelings, get fit and make new friends through dancing.
She has a deep passion for making arts inclusive.
She has contributed a lot to the field of the teaching and learning of dance.
Amanda continues to push for positive change in community dance.
She is committed to creating a space where everyone can participate.
Amanda is a warm and friendly person.
She is able to connect with others.
She inspires everyone to embrace their own abilities.
She is enthusiastic and really cares about her students and colleagues.

Feel the power of drumming in Andy Harris’s drumming circle.
Andy is an experienced instructor.
He is known for his friendly and patient approach.
He creates a positive space where everyone can succeed.
This drumming circle helps people to express themselves.
It also encourages people to make friends and grow.
Andy’s knowledge and skills will help you to explore your potential and build confidence.
This session is held every Tuesday at 11:15 at IMPACD CIC.
It is part of the “Freedom to Explore” project.
This safe space welcomes people with autism and mental health challenges.
It also aims to make people less lonely.

Emma Ford loves cats and is an avid vegan.
She is a great photographer and a beautiful soul.
She is also an experienced Arts instructor.
Emma is able to connect with people on all levels.
She creates a supportive space where everyone feels valued.
She helps people to fully explore their artistic potential.
When people create art together, barriers no longer exist.
Everyone feels like they belong.
Each person, no matter how much they know or can do, helps to create better art.

Milla Hanna leads our Djembe drum workshop.
He brings the vibrant rhythms of Guinea and Mali to life.
He is a valued member of our Freedom to Explore team.
He is always reliable and on time.

Charlotte Tupper is an artist.
She works in the Freedom to Explore team.
Her main focus is textile art.
Charlotte takes approaches from her arts background to make sessions vibrant.
She likes to encourage people to be curious and creative.
She is able to change her approach for different ages and types of learners.
This ensures that she supports and engages everyone she works with.
Charlotte has led many projects.
Sharing ideas and making friends are at heart of her projects.
Her approach is based on using common objects to create patterns and shapes.
Participants choose the outcomes.
They work together in a friendly space where everyone adds to the end product.
Monica is a dancer from Colombia.
She thinks carefully and is very creative.
She studies body movement, the mind, and teaching.
She dances in many styles, like Spiral Dance, Egyptian, Persian and Iranian.
She mixes African and Colombian dances.
Monica works with young people who need support.
She leads art projects to bring people together.
She is also a dance teacher at Embodied Blossoming in Nottingham.
She uses various methods to manage body and mind challenges.
She helps people to grow and heal through music and movement.
From 2012 to 2019, Monica worked with Gateshead Council.
She taught dance to people with Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
She also taught young adults with learning difficulties.
Her classes focus on the way dance can heal and help people.
During this time, she taught dance and led sessions.
These included belly dancing, salsa and zumba.
The aim of these sessions was to reduce stress and improve well-being.
Monica likes learning new things.
She trained in Awakened Bellydance teaching in Bulgaria in 2017.
She did a course in Inner Dance teaching in the United Kingdom in 2016.
She has a Foundation Degree in Teaching for Learning Difficulties.
She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education from Colombia.
Now, she is studying on a Spiral Praxis Advanced Studies Program in Canada.
Katie is a dance artist.
She is trained in contemporary dance and theatre.
She is a choreographer, performer and teacher.
She has worked with a variety of people in different ways over the last 35 years.
Katie bases her sessions on contemporary dance.
She helps people to find their own way of moving.
Katie leads sessions with IMPACD C.I.C and works as a dance teacher for the Workers Education Association (WEA).
Her sessions are low impact and low intensity.
Her style is smooth and safe.
She teaches dance to people with Parkinson’s disease every week.
She led various dance classes each week in Devon, such as dance for people living with Parkinson’s and classes for all ages and levels.
She also led movement sessions in care homes for older people.
Katie likes to get everyone involved.
She uses prompts in the class.
Then everyone responds in their own way.
Finding common ground and differences is an important part of creating dances.
Katie studied environmental science and marine botany.
She has done research work in this field.
She is still concerned about the environment.
She likes to explore themes related to this in her classes.
Rickay is a movement instructor.
She graduated with a First-class Degree from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2021.
She also gained a Master’s Degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy in 2023.
Her practice is based on healing ideas and authentic movement.
It explores methods which rely on body over mind.
Imagination is at the heart of her work.
She aims to create a safe space.
She helps people to work together and be creative.
