Every day, we see the power of dance, music, movement, and creativity. Whether it’s improving wellbeing, building confidence, or simply creating a space where everyone feels welcome – our community is at the heart of everything we do.

You can nominate us!
If you feel our work has made a positive difference in your life or in the community, we would be incredibly grateful if you would consider nominating us in either one or both of the following categories:
The Active Award – for using dance and movement to improve health and wellbeing.
The Community Group Award – for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives through all of our activities.

Nominations for the 2026 awards close on Tuesday 31 March at 5pm, so there’s still lots of time to take part!
Why your nomination matters
Your voice helps shine a light on inclusive arts and the importance of creative spaces for people living with mental health challenges, Parkinson’s, dementia, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and for our LGBTQ+ community.
Being nominated would not just be an honour – it would help us reach more people who could benefit from what we do.
How you can nominate us
It’s simple and only takes a few minutes by sharing a short nomination of no more than 250 words as to why you think IMPACD CIC deserves recognition and is important to you. To submit your nomination, visit this page on the BBC website and then click on either “The Active Award” or “The Community Group Award” categories (you can nominate us for both!) Once you are on either of the category pages, you will then need to fill in and complete all of the required form fields which will include our contact details:
