Are you ready to dance your cares away and rediscover the joy of movement? We’ve got just the event for you! IMPACD CIC is thrilled to introduce “Vitality Beats,” an exhilarating series of Friday night rave dance sessions that promise to unite the community uniquely and upliftingly.

Energize Your Body and Mind

These electrifying sessions are made possible thanks to the generous funding from Community Champions as part of the COVID response. Our goal? To enhance both your physical and emotional well-being through dance. Imagine a high-energy, sober rave led by a dance expert, designed to prepare your body and mind for a fantastic experience.

Dance Your Worries Away

At Vitality Beats, we believe that dance is the universal language of joy. These sessions are open to all ages and abilities, creating an inclusive space where everyone can groove to the rhythm. It’s not just about dancing; it’s about finding a sense of belonging, connecting with others, and boosting your overall well-being.

What to Expect

  • A Unique Experience: Each session starts with a lead warmup followed by 60 minutes, filled with heart-pounding music, interpretive dance moves, and a cool-down period that leaves you feeling refreshed and invigorated.
  • Personalised Playlist: You’re in control of the music! Choose tunes that resonate with you, creating a personalised dance experience that’s as unique as you are.
  • Community Connection: After every session, there’s time to chat, connect, and share your experiences with fellow participants. It’s more than just dancing; it’s about building a supportive community.

Why It Matters

Vitality Beats is here to make a real impact. We’re addressing the needs of individuals with long COVID, chronic pain, social anxiety, and depression. These sessions offer a safe and supportive environment to boost physical activity and enhance mental well-being.

  • Start Date: September 15, 2023

Funding That Makes It Possible

Our thanks go out to the Community Champions for their essential funding. It covers the dance leader’s fee, venue hire, music selection, and post-session communication time. Plus, it accounts for the administrative efforts required to make Vitality Beats successful.

Join Us on the Dance Floor

We’ve spoken with our local Integrated Care Partnership to ensure that Vitality Beats aligns with local health initiatives. They’ve offered support and guidance, making this event even more special.

But it doesn’t stop there. Throughout the project, we’ll conduct informal evaluations and gather feedback to ensure we meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Your experience matters to us!

So, mark your calendars and dance like nobody’s watching! Vitality Beats is not just an event; it’s a journey of self-expression, well-being, and community. We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor, lighting up Friday nights with the power of dance and unity. Get ready to move, groove, and rediscover your vitality!

A middle-aged slender female session leader with short dark hair, wearing a blue jumpsuit and yellow cardigan, eyes closed and serene-looking, moves her arms pensively. Beautiful wings which adorn the back wall of the IMPACD studio seem to come out of her back like a bird in flight.
