Volunteer with IMPACD

Help someone feel they belong

A friendly hello can make walking into a new place a little easier. A few minutes of your time can help someone feel welcome, included and glad they came.

If you’d like to make a difference in your local community, we’d love to hear from you.

A little about IMPACD

IMPACD CIC brings people together in Nottingham through free dance, music and creative activities. Our sessions welcome people with different backgrounds, abilities and support needs, including people living with disabilities or long-term health conditions, carers and anyone who might be feeling isolated.

People come to move, enjoy themselves and spend time with others. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel that there is a place for them.

Where you could fit in

You don’t need to be a dancer or the most confident person in the room. Being patient, kind and willing to lend a hand matters.

You might enjoy welcoming people, helping prepare the space or supporting community events. Perhaps you have practical, creative or organisational skills you’d like to share. Tell us what interests you, and we can talk about where your help could be useful.

Your support helps our team give people the time and attention they deserve and makes it easier to keep activities running smoothly.

Something for you, too

Volunteering can be a chance to meet people, try something different and build confidence at your own pace. You might discover a skill you didn’t know you had, gain useful experience or simply enjoy having something meaningful to look forward to.

We know everyone’s circumstances are different. Let’s talk about the time you have available, what you feel comfortable doing and any support or adjustments you may need.

Let’s start with a chat

You don’t need to have it all worked out before getting in touch. Ask us a question, tell us a little about yourself or find out what volunteering could look like for you.
